YSHA receives Reports on State,Local gov't Accounts

Yobe state House of Assembly has on tuesday 9th of may 2023 do received and considered the report of the House Committee on public Accounts on the Yobe state Auditor General's Annual reports on accounts of Yobe state Government for the year ended 31st December 2021.
Similarly the Honourable House also do received and considered the reports of the house standing committee on public Account on Account of the 17 local government councils of Yobe state for the year ended 31st December 2021.
Presenting the Reports at the plenary,the chairman of the committee Hon.Bulama Bukar revealed that the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 mandated under section 128(182) and 129 (182)(as amended),the committee has studied the report of the Auditor General's Annual Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2021.
Similarly,the standing order of the House mandated under standing order 106,(2),(3),(4) an order of reference from the Assembly which was entrusted with the task of considering the reports of the Annual Audited Accounts of the state government on 17th May 2022.
Consiquently,the committee in the process invited and summoned 29 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for interaction the chairman reported.
The Public account committee chairman,Hon.Bulama Bukar also revealed that,17 local government councils were also invited for the interactive session.
After series of debate, contributions, recommendations and observations at the committee of the whole,the speaker of the house ,Hon Ahmed Lawan Mirwa announced the anonymous agreement reached on both Reports of yobe state government and the accounts of the 17 local government councils of Yobe state.
Ahmed Lawan also announced the adjournment of the Honourable House to reconvene on 16th of May,2023.
