YSCHMA receives NYSC 'Best Corps Employer Award'

Yobe State contributory Healthcare Management Agency(YOSCHMA) has on Thursday received "best corps employer award"in recognition of its outstanding, friendly disposition to the national youth service corps (NYSC) In Yobe state.

Receiving the award at a lecture organised by NYSC Yobe Office on the topic"five decades of fostering national unity and development"the executive secretary of the agency,Dr.Babagana Tijjani said, the award  by NYSC is part of their collective efforts to position the state on efficient and effective path to attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) as a corporate Healthcare Financing Institution.

Mr.Tijjani, stated that they are deeply grateful for this honour by National Youth Service Corps stressed that,as a proud former Corp member,NYSC remains one of the nation's strongest institutions that is promoting national unity and integration, peaceful coexistence, self-reliance and youth skill development.

He revealed that, YOSCHMA will ensure institutional strengthening of the Agency to improve organisational performance to provide affordable and qualitative healthcare delivery to all residents of the state.


He thanked Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni for his giant efforts and accomplishment in the health sector in last four (4) years, and landmark achievements by his administration that enable the agency to effectively function as an agency of government and implement their  core mandates.

Earlier speaking,NYSC Yobe Coordinator,Mrs Hafsat Yerima said,the topic for this 50th anniversary's lecture,"NYSC - Five Decades of Fostering National Unity and Development", has been carefully chosen to encapsulate the giant strides and the invaluable contributions of the NYSC Scheme to the nation's growth and development.

At the occasion,NYSC presented best NYSC Community award to Machina Emirate and most NYSC friendly local government to Damaturu LGA.

Others are;NYSC long serving award to Yakubu Gadaka,Saidu Andrew Mshelia,Audu S.Wakawa,Jummai Umaru and Hajiya Bakura Umaru.

While Mrs Hafsaf Yerima NYSC Yobe Coordinator received award of excellent presented to her by man' o war in recognition of her selfless service and meritorious to the NYSC in Yobe state

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital. 9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
