NUJ Yobe Congratulates Gov.Buni on his Swearing-in for second term in office



The Chairman Nigeria Union of journalists Yobe state Chapter, Comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail on behalf of my self and entire NUJ members in the state,I wish to join millions of well wishes to congratulate,His Excellency Mai Mala Buni(Chiroman Gujba)and his Deputy,His Excellency,Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune)on their Swearing- in ceremony as the Executive Governor and Deputy Governor of Yobe state respectively.

For us,Your Excellency, your re-election has not come to us as a surprise because your first term in office had witnessed a relentless pursuit of infrastructural development programs aimed at enhancing the living standard of the good citizens of Yobe  state.

Apart from giving the Yobe capital city a facelift,the plight of the less privileged and the down trodden
people in the society has equally recorded a tremendous and remarkable improvement.

It is our conviction that the milestone achievements recorded during your first tenure will be replicated in multiples during your
second tenure.

We pray that the Almighty Allah will give you more wisdom, knowledge,and ability to continue to give more dividends of democracy to the good people of Yobe state.

Once again, congratulations Your Excellency.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital. 9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
