Traditional Title:Gadaka Paid Thank You Visit to Gudi Emirate

Following the conferment of traditional title'Madaki of Gudi emirate on Yobe state Chairman of All progressives Congress (APC)  Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka by Gudi Emirate,the party Chairman has on Saturday lead government functionaries from the state for a homage and appreciation visit to Emir of Gudi,His royal Highness,Alhaji Isa Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khahji in his palace.

The historic visit which among is the party chairman himself,the speaker Yobe state house of assembly, Hon.Ahmed Lawan Mirwa,Chief of staff government house damaturu,Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua,members of the state house of assembly,APC state party officials ,amongst other government functionaries was to shows an appreciation to the Emir over the appointment.

Speaking at the palace of the Emir ,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka said,the title giving to him by the emirate would allow him to contribute his quota as the son of the emirate towards  the development of the emirate,fika local government and the state in general.


Gadaka pointing out that,traditional fathers have always been supportive of the government and played a key stabilising role in the administration, hence the need of the sons and daughters of the emirate to unit themselves for the progress of all. 

Madaki of Gudi emirate used the forum and donated the sum of ₦20 million for the emirate to start up the construction of a new befitting council chamber .

Responding,the Emir of Gudi,His Royal Highness,Alhaji Isa Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khahji said, Mohammed Gadaka is a patriotic who has offered himself to serve with loyalty, humility ,and diligence.

"His underlying philosophical is being people oriented and people centred for a peaceful,united and prosperous state where all youths and elders are free to contribute their quota to nation building.,"said the royal father.

The Emir called on the new Madaki of Gudi Emirate to act on behalf of the emirate to request the state governor Mai Mala Buni for the Complete Renovation of the Emir's Palace in other  to meet the modern look.

The emirate appreciated the visit and prays Almighty Allah for their journey mercy back to their various destinations.

A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
