Gadaka condoles with the family of late Gana Karasuwa

Yobe State All progressives Congress (APC) party chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka has condoled with the family of late Lawan Gana Karasuwa over the  death of their beloved one yesterday after a brief illness at the age of 63.

Mohammed Gadaka narrated the deceased as humble,committed and generous politicians in the state.

The party chairman also described,the death of lawan Gana as a huge loss to the family,Karasuwa LG,Yobe state and Nigeria at large.

Gadaka prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatur Firdaus.

He also prayed to Allah (SWT) to console the family and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Late Lawan Gana died just 24 hours to his official inauguration as the caretaker chairmen karasuwa Local government area.

He was survived by two wives and Seventeen children.

A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
