Yobe Assembly Members reconvened after sallah break

Yobe State house of Assembly has on Tuesday 2nd May 2023 reconvened after Ei-del fitr sallah break.


The sitting which presided over by the Deputy Speaker,Mr.Auwalu Isa Bello condoled with the government of Yobe state and people of Buni Gari over the lost of lives in Buni Gari Community of Gujba Local by the suspected member of  Boko Haram Insurgents who killed  10 Members of the Community.

The speaker represented by his deputy also condoled the state elder Statesman Musa Lawan over the death of his wife in potiskum local government area of Yobe state.

Also the setting Condoled with the Chief Information Officer,Yobe state House of Assembly Information Unit,Mr Idi Isa Yaro Over the Lost of his beloved Wife In Damaturu.

During the plenary,Prayers was performed for all those who lost their lives for Almighty Allah to grant them  in to janatul firdus.

The sitting was adjourned to reconvened on 9th of May 2023 and Chief Whip of the house Hon.Buba Ibrahim Kallallawa moved the motion for the  adjournment of the sitting and was seconded by Hon.Kachalla maina Ajia Member Representing  Machina LG.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital.
