Youths riding bikes from Yobe to Katsina for Dikko's Swearing-In

A 33-year-old man, Sulaiman Halilu and Kamilu Alhaji Bala who is 29 year old based in Damaturu have put all the necessary arrangements to embark on a journey by riding a bicycle from Yobe to Katsina state for the  inauguration of katsina state Governor elect,Dikko Umar Radda and his Deputy,Faruq Lawal Jobe.

The Youths who were indigenes of Katsina state from Musawa local government area based in Yobe said,they earlier promised in 2022 during APC governorship primary election to embarked on a journey when ever Dr.Dikko Umar Radda emerged as Katsina state Governorship Candidate.

Part of the promised According to them is also when Hon.Mukhtari Dan Dutse becomes candidate for Senator representing Funtua Zone and Hon.Talba Musawa as member representing Musawa local government area respectively.

"As Yan Amanan Dikko Radda,we are going to rides our bicycles to embark on a journey from Yobe state to Katsina a driving distances of 627 kilometres according to distance calculator.net on google map search,hoping to spend about 4 to 5 days on the road to fulfill the promise we made. 

"Dikko was tested and trusted being the former chief of staff to Governor Bello Masari.

"Dikko is also a Former Director General,Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Of Nigeria(SMEDAN)for eight years.

"These experiences made Youths of Katsina state called on Dikko to come out and contests for the katsina state Governorship under the platform of the All progressives Congress (APC)".

They called on the people of Katsina state to support Dr Dikko's administration in the state for the d  have iii hi all.ī 00 up1l¹il

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
