Yobe East Senator:Group drum support for Zannah Ali

Zannah Progressives Movement for Senator Zone A,has Saturday declared support for Ali Ibrahim Zannah to contests for Senator Yobe East Senatorial District in the State.

The Group made the declaration during a mega town hall meeting towards the actualisation of Alhaji  Ibrahim Zannah Ali as Senator Yobe -East  Senatorial District, took place at desert hall,damaturu.

Addressing the gathering at the event, the Chairman Zannah Progressives Movement for Senator Zone A, Mohammed Abba Shishiwaji said,the meeting is to congratulated themselves for the recent nomination of Senator Ibrahim Geidam as the minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Shishiwaji also stated that,the Senatorial seat has created a vacuum that need to be fill in with some one with vast knowledge about politics in the fourth coming by-election.
He further revealed that,as concerned citizens of the state,they have found it necessary to quickly set an agenda for themselves in making sure they promote the higher person to replace Senator Ibrahim Geidam and build on his legacies.

The movement Leader noted that,at the moment their focus is on some one who they all believed have passionate about the development and progress of the youth in the State.

"And this is not other person than Alhaji Ibrahim Zannah Ali.we have throw our weight on him because of his passion in support of education on our younger generation.

"We are appealing to to our party,the All progressives Congress (APC) in the state,our Stakeholders,Leaders and most importantly the Youths to consider the movement,"said Shishiwaji.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
