Senator:Best 77 Youth of 7 LGAs of Yobe East Endorse Mustapha

Best 77 of the seven local government areas of Yobe East Senatorial District has made an ardent called and endorsement of honourable Musa Mustapha (Kulas),to vie for the Yobe east Senatorial District in the fourth coming bye-election in Yobe state. 

The Zonal Coordinator of the movement,Mohammed Chiroma also(Buharin Yobe) Made the endorsement while briefing journalist at the NUJ secretariat in Damaturu.

He further revealed that,the nomination of Senator Dr.Ibrahim Gaidam as minister to represent Yobe state, has created a vacuum that need to be fill in with experienced politicians in the fourth coming by-election.

Chiroma stated that,the Yobe East youths are the representatives of over 100 support groups in the zone who have their various structures across the seven Iocal governments areas of Yobe state down to the wards and polling units to stated their stand on the senatorial seat coming up soon.

He noted that,the movement whose members believe in the candidature of honorable Musa Mustapha (kulas)which has its seven local government Coordinators and ward Coordinators in an efforts to salvage the All Progressives Congress (APC) party from sinking in the hands of opposition in the region.

"Our gathering here today is to ensure that we get it right and pick the ticket from APC and contest for
the senatorial seat of Yobe east, to our understanding,his aspiration was anchored on competence and credibility and so has given us the go ahead to canvass support.

"It is therefore, in the light of this development that we want to unequivocaly endorse Honorable Musa Mustapha's candidature to lead the good people of GUJBA, GULANI,DAMATURU,BURSARI, GEIDAM TARMUWA and YUNUSARI
federal constituency in the senate.

"We have followed and listen carefully and found in him a
track record while in public office, a unifier, God-fearing,knowledgeable about the problems of zone A.He is the one who is ready to hit the ground running and so our resolve to
throw our weights overwhelmingly behind him is sacrosanct,"said the Zonal  Coordinator.

The Zonal Coordinator called on all the youths of the (7) LGAs of Yobe East to mobilize and come out en masse to support the aspiration 
of the project."Our heritage is our pride and with Hon.Musa Mustapha we are secured",he added.

Yobe Gov't,NTBLCP, Partners celebrates 2025 World TB Day

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu The Yobe State Government has installed seven new Truenat PCR-TB diagnosis machines to enhance the state’s ability to quickly and accurately diagnose TB cases.   The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana, made this known on Wednesday during the commemoration of the 2025 World Tuberculosis Day in collaboration with National tuberculosis and Leprosy Control programme (NTBCLP) and Development Partners took place in Damaturu,the state capital. Yobe Begins Survey on SGDP to Analyze Economic Capacity
