Gadaka,APC congratulates Sen.Geidam's ministerial Nom

Yobe State party Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC),Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, as well as the entire Executive Council of the party in the state heartily congratulates His Excellency Senator Dr.Ibrahim Gaidam on his nomination as Minister federal republic of Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement by the press Secretary to the party Chairman, Hajiya Sa'adatu Maina.

According to the statement,the party Executives in the state described Senator Geidam's nominations as well deserved appointment.

"Your determination paid off and your
appointment out of the dozens in the
party.

"Allah(SWT)was with you at the beginning and will be with you 
through out your tenure as a
Minister.In Sha Allah.

"It's our believe that the ministry will
experience rapid growth under your
leadership.

The Party executives further expressed satisfaction that Sen. Gaidam would use his wealth of experience to perform wonderfully as Minister federal republic of Nigeria.

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...

Yobe Gov't,NTBLCP, Partners celebrates 2025 World TB Day

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu The Yobe State Government has installed seven new Truenat PCR-TB diagnosis machines to enhance the state’s ability to quickly and accurately diagnose TB cases.   The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana, made this known on Wednesday during the commemoration of the 2025 World Tuberculosis Day in collaboration with National tuberculosis and Leprosy Control programme (NTBCLP) and Development Partners took place in Damaturu,the state capital. Yobe Begins Survey on SGDP to Analyze Economic Capacity

Yusuf The Yobe State Government has on Tuesday commenced a five-day training program on State Gross Domestic Product (SGDP).  The training aims to analyze the state's economic capacity, enabling the government to better understand income levels and identify areas for investment.   The Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, represented by the Permanent Secretary,Hamidu Isa Babi , stated that the SGDP is a crucial tool for economic analysis.It helps the government prioritize sectors for investment and understand the economic potential of the state.   He explained that the task will be handled by a dedicated bureau, which will conduct surveys and analyze data on behalf of the government.  "This initiative reflects the state's commitment to understanding the economic culture and income levels of its people".  The training, supported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), was facilitated by Mr. Akindele Akinyemi.
