Gadaka condole with Yobe NUJ Sec over Wife's death

Yobe state All progressives Congress (APC) party chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka has condoled with the Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ),Yobe state Council,Alhaji Alhassan Sule Mamudo ,over the death of his wife who died after a brief illness in damaturu.

In a statement by the APC party chairman's press secretary, Sa'adatu Maina,Gadaka described Yobe NUJ secretary's wife death as a sad and  loss to the family,NUJ and community.

He expressed sympathy and prayed for the reposed Soul of the deceased and for the family to bear the fortitude of her lost.

Mohammed Gadaka also party Almighty Allah to grant her Aljannatul Firdaus be the reward of her good deed.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
