Army acquaints Students on its composition in Yobe

As part of the commemoration of the Nigerian Army day celebration (NADCEL)2023 in the state,the headquarters of sector 2 joint task force North-East Operation Hadin Kai Monday Organised a one day lecture to sensitized secondary school students on the composition of the Nigerian Army and its Activities as a symbol of national unity, integration as enshrined in the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
NADCEL is an annual event aimed at showcasing the commitment of the Nigerian Army (NA) over the years, as a professional responsive force,
With the theme of this year's 2023,"Sound administration as a Panacea for effective military operations " the occasion took place at the Government secondary school, Damaturu,Yobe state.
Speaking at the occasion,the commander sector 2 joint task force North-East Operation Hadin Kai,Major General MLD. Saraso said,on the inception of the present Chief of Army staff,Major General TA. Lagbaja directed the military formations across the country to go down to secondary schools and disseminate information pertaining Nigerian Army is actually doing.
Represented by the Chief of Staff,Sector 2 Joint Task Force North-East Operation Hadin Kai,Brigadier General Julius Ogbobe, Major General Saraso said that,the engagement provided an avenue to educate students on career opportunities in the Nigerian Army.
The Sector 2 Commander encourage the secondary students to join the Army to protect the territorial integrity of their fatherland and also pursue their goals in further.
"When the younger once understand what Nigerian Army actually is all about,they would be happy and joy to actually wear Army uniforms as younger stars and leaders of tomorrow.
" So the essence of we coming to schools is to replicate that idea that, Army is for the citizens and citizens is also for the Army",said Major General Saraso.
He stressed that,the idea that the Chief of Army Staff have brought ,they have all into the ideas and their memories times immemorial.
