Group passes vote of confidence on Sen.Bomai

The Coalition of Yobe South Youth Groups has on Friday passed a vote of confidence on representation of the senator representing Yobe south senatorial district,Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai.

Leader of the Coalition Youths Groups Bappa Hassan Adamu while addressing members of the Youth groups said,they have categorically distance themselves from the agitations for recall of Senator Bomai because it is orchestrated and sponsored by individuals dissatisfied with his electoral successes using uninformed persons to tarnish his political reputation and dent his future political career seeing him as a stumbling block to their political ambitions.

Bappa stated that,Senator Bomai has proved to be a beacon of progress, delivering vital projects in health, education,water supply, roads, electrification and general empowerment across Yobe South communities.

According to the Coalition Youths leader,Bomai's most spectacular achievement include the construction of 23 roads and others that are on going which has enhanced the socio-ecomic activities of the Zone.

He revealed that,"Senator Bomai's construction of health centers and provision of medical supplies is most commendable.His projects on information technology in our various schools as indispensable tool for modern education is not only visionary but also ingenious.

"His provision of solar powered and motorized boreholes in all parts of Yobe South has greatly improved potable water supply in numerous communities.

"His provision of solar lights and electric transformers in many areas has also boosted socio economic activities of our Zone.In fact his achievements had surpassed those of all other legislators in the Zone since 1999.Except for selfish motive is this the person disgruntled elements are clamoring for his recall. Definitely this has nothing to do with non performance but purely for political motive.

Bappa noted that,considering the phenomenal achievements of Senator Bomai,therefore they urged all the constituents in Yobe South not to be used by his political detractors but to unite in supporting him to bring more dividends of democracy to the people as any attempt to distract him is a sabotage to their development.

"Let us stand firm against divisive politics and continue to foster progress for Yobe South",He added.

Ignore strike notice,it's fake- Yobe NLC declares

In a statement by the state NLC Chairman,Comrade Muktari Musa Tarbutu,said the fake news/circular is entirely false and without any basis.
