Windstorm:Families renders homeless in Yobe Communities

Annually in the beginning of every raining season,Nayi-Nawa and Pawari Community in damaturu local government area of Yobe state experiencing heavy windstorm that led to lost of lives and properties worth millions of Naira.

Despite the wind storm is a natural disaster but expert attributed it to human factors such as felling of live tress,climate change,bush burning and pollution respectively.

This year the story is not different as residents of the Community on sunday 23 of April 2023 experienced heavy windstorm that led to many families rendered homeless in the area.
Blueskynews interview some of the affected victims in nayi Nawa Community said,the incident occurred on Sunday around 3pm in the evening.


Maryam usman mother of orphans said she is helpless and in miserable condition,Calling on Government ,philanthropist and non governmental  organisations to come to their aid.
Also Asmau Usman who revealed that, she need urgent attention as she lost all her Rooms as a result of the windstorm.

Blueskynews Reports that,all efforts to speak with Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA)on the incident   proved abortive.
