Buni Congratulates APC,Sen.Bomoi's re-election

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Yobe South Senator, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi, on his success and return as Senator-elect of the Zone 'B' Senatorial election.

in a statement signed and issued by the governor's Media aide,Alhaji Mamman Mohammed said,the Governor issued the congratulatory message on Saturday after the formal declaration of Senator Bomoi by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the statement,Buni described the victory of the party as an additional value to the incoming APC national government.

"I am optimistic  the Senator would always lend his support to legislation on policies and programmes of the Federal government.

"We are also  optimistic the experienced law maker would bring his experience to bear and continue to work towards improving the lives of his constituents" Buni said.

He urged the people of Zone B to continue supporting the law maker for more dividends of democracy.

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
