Gadaka gets traditional title of Madaki Of Gudi Emirate

Yobe state Chairman of All progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka  have been conferred with traditional titles by Gudi Emirate council of Yobe state.

The later of the  conferment of the tittles was announced by the Emir of Gudi,His Royal Highness,Alhaji Isa Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khahji, through the Council Secretary.

Mohammed Gadaka was conferred with the title of “MADAKI OF GUDI".

The conferment/ appointment later read a parts"I am directed by His Royal Highness Alhaji Isa Bunuwo lbn Madubu Khahji the Emir of Gudi to write and convey to you that he has conferred on you and appoint you the prestigious title of "MADAKI OF GUDI".

"This title is earned at the pleasure of His Royal Highness the Emir of Gudi by
any outstanding citizen of good character and conduct and who emerged from the line of our tradition and culture of our kingdom.

"Its therefore the testimony of His Royal Highness the Emir of Gudi that you acquired these qualities that qualify you for this prestigious tittle.

"The Gudi Emirate Council therefore appreciate the action and decision of His
Royal the Emir of Gudi for choosing you to occupy this tittle with hope that you can uphold the honour and respect of Gudi Emirate Council".

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
