Buni appoints Mai Aliyu Gulani as Yobe Acting Auditor General

The Executive Governor of Yobe State HE, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has approved the appointment of Umar Mai Aliyu Gulani as acting Auditor General of Yobe State. 

The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali Mni and made available to the journalist in damaturu by his Press Secretary Shuaibu Abdullahi.

The letter read in part " I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has approved your appointment as Acting State Auditor General with immediate effect. 

"Your appointment into this exalted office is predicated on your past records of performance, dedication and commitments towards the development of the State. It is, therefore, hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment. 

"While congratulating you on your well deserved appointment, please accept the assurances of our highest regards".

Until his appointment, Umar Mai Aliyu Gulani was the Director Finance and Supply, Yobe State Pilgrims Commission.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital. 9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
