Gadaka implore people to pray for peace,success in Buni's Gov't

Yobe state All progressives Congress (APC)party chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka has plead with people of the state to intensify prayers for peace and success for Buni's administration in the state.

Gadaka made the called on Friday while joined hundred of muslim faithful at  Yobe mosque and Islamic Centre to observe Eid el-fitr prayers.

The Eid prayers was led by the Chief Imam of  Yobe mosque and Islamic Center, Ustas Hudu Mohammad Yusuf.

Gadaka attended the eid prayers along side the state deputy governor,Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana.

Also amongst the dignitaries that attended the eid el fitr prayers were the leader of  the state House of assembly, ,   National and state Assembly members, acting Secretary to the state government, chief of judge and Grand khadi, commissioners and head of security agencies as well as special advisers.

He later proceeded to banquet hall at the government house damaturu with the State deputy governor  as well as some top government dignitaries for a reception( Walima) to mark the end of  Eid-el-fitr festival which is part of the tradition of Yobe state Government to Organised such a celebration during this period.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
