Frequent Power Outage,YEDC calls to improve service delivery in Yobe

Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) has been called upon to improve on its service delivery in Yobe State.
The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),Yobe State Council, Comrade Rajab Mohammed
made the called on Saturday during a Congress Meeting held at the NUJ Secretariat in Damaturu.
The NUJ Chairman, Comrade Rajab Muhammad said, the acute electricity across the state is affecting the living condition of the common man in the state especially at this Ramadan period.
Comr. Rajab said "the state is disturbed by the shortage of electricity supply in Damaturu and its environs as well as crazy bill from the company.
"Despite this holy month of Ramadan,people are buying a cart of water at the cost of ₦500 to ₦700 which was sold before at the rate of ₦200 per cart.
The Chairman used the medium to also call on the Government Agencies saddled with the responsibilities of water supply to find alternative ways of making the commodity available to it citizens.
