The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has commended the passion and commitment demonstrated by the Minister of Livestock Development in advancing the livestock sector.

In a statement issued by KACRAN’s National President, Hon. Khalil Moh’d Bello, and made available to journalists in Damaturu, the association acknowledged the significant contributions made during the recent two-day workshop organized by the Ministry of Livestock Development in partnership with the British SPRING Project.

Bello stated that the workshop provided a platform for discussing modern methods and strategies to enhance livestock productivity and promote peaceful coexistence between farmers and pastoral communities.

He noted that the Honourable Minister’s dedication to these objectives was evident and expressed gratitude for his tireless efforts.

"As one of the pastoralist associations that participated in this landmark workshop, we were inspired by the powerful and emotive address delivered by the Honourable Minister, Alhaji Idi Maiha. His remarks resonated with all attendees, including resource persons, ministry staff, representatives from the British SPRING Project, media professionals, and other stakeholders, reaffirming his competence and readiness to lead," Bello said.

"The Minister actively participated throughout the workshop, addressing questions and concerns, which demonstrated his commitment to collaborative dialogue. As an experienced livestock farmer with extensive knowledge of pastoral practices—not only in Nigeria but across West Africa—he has rekindled hope and confidence among pastoralists and stakeholders alike," the KACRAN National President added.

Bello emphasized that KACRAN, as a key stakeholder in the livestock sector, extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Minister for his unwavering dedication to peace and the progress of the livestock industry in Nigeria.
