Gulani Salutes Gov. Buni On Appointment of Tonga as HOS

The people of Gulani local government area today paid a thank you visit to the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, on the appointment of Alh. Tonga Betara Bularafa, as acting Head of service.

Prominent sons of Gulani local government area eulogized Gov. Buni for appointment of sons of Gulani sons into key government positions and providing the area with infrastructure to, improve the lives of the people. 

The speakers include Commisioners of Wealth Creation Alh. Aji Bularafa, Power and Energy Alh. Muhammad Muhammad Bara, and Hon. Bunu Zannah, member representing Gulani Constituency in the state assembly described the  appointment of Betara as the new state Head of Service as an honour done to the people of the area .

The speakers said the appointment of Betara, a seasoned civil servant as Head of service was a round peg in a round hole that would add value to governance and service delivery to the people. 

They pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the Buni administration, assuring their support at all times.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital. 9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
