ProjectTrust trains Yobe MDAs on data management,others

August 28, 2024 - by Yusuf A Yusuf A nongovernmental organisation, Project Trust,Tuesday trained staff of Yobe Ministries,Departments and Agencies (MDAs) on Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Social Accountability Project Trust, as an initiative of Connected Development , a project that seeks to rebuild trust between government and citizens. Country director, Mu’azu Modu, said over the years, the organization learnt that government is doing a lot of things and citizens also demand a lot of accountability from the government, but that there is disconnections between the government and the citizens. Yobe NLC seek members to pray for National President's safe return

The Yobe State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Mukhtar Tarbutu, has called on members and affiliates of the union to pray for the release of the National President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who was recently invited by the Nigerian Police Force.  Tarbutu made the appealed on Thursday in Damaturu while addressing a gathering of NLC members and affiliates in the state.  He said the union had received a directive from the national headquarters to mobilize members to police headquarters in their respective states in solidarity with Ajiro.  However, in Yobe State, the NLC leadership decided to adopt a spiritual approach by organizing prayers for Ajiro’s safe return. Tarbutu expressed confidence that Allah would intervene and ensure the safety of the NLC president.
