Yobe Trains 127 Civil Servants on Effective Service Delivery

Yobe state  government has trained over 127 civil Servants on Leadership and Human Resource Management at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria,Abuja. 

The training which is the first phase was meant for directors and senior officers of Yobe State Government.

The Yobe State Acting Head of Civil Service Alh. Hamidu M. Alhaji while declared opened the training in Abuja,said the decision to partner with public service institute for the training was in fulfillment of the directives by Governor Mai Mala Buni towards ensuring a better successions plan in the State Civil Service.

Hamidu M. Alhaji stated that, the training remain key for effective implementation of government policies and programmes especially in the areas of education, healthcare delivery,wealth creation transport, energy,Commerce and industries ,trade and investment,accountability among others.

He commended Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for his stance on human capital development and reinvigorating the state civil service.

"You should  scale down of the knowledge learnt to your respective subordinates at Ministries, department and agencies,"said Hamidu Alhaji to the participants.

Acting Head of Service equally appreciated Governor Mai Mala Buni for continues sponsorship of the civil servants both within and outside the state over the years as Yobe civil servants have recently participated in advanced security management course III (ASMC III) at the National Institute for Security Studies, Bwari-Abuja.

The facilitator of the programme, Comrade Ibrahim Bulama Yusuf,commended Governor Buni for the sponsorship despite other pressing issues and priorities before the government, urging for the sustainance at all times.
