Yobe retired perm-sects reward keke rider who returned N9m

Yobe state Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries has on Wednesday shows their appreciation to a tricycle rider,Ali Bulama Jumbam of Jumbam village,Tarmuwa local government area of Yobe state by rewarding him with N100,000 for his foresight and fear of Allah in returning to the owner the sum of N9,000,000,00(Nine Million Naira).
The 35 year tricycle rider,Ali Bulama Aji Jumbam returned the missing money sum of N9 million to the rightful owner who boarded his tricycle on Friday 17 November 2023 in Dapchi market day.
The Chairman,Yobe state association of retired permanent Secretaries, Engineer Mai Sanda Lawan said,their decision for the award and presentation of later of appreciation to Ali Bulama Aji Jumbam is to encourage others to emulate his virtue of honesty.
"We hard the development through social media.This is a kind of person deserved recommendations, therefore we urged on his colleagues to emulate him and equally called on the state government,local government,and other philanthropist in the state to assist such a person.
Ali Bulama Aji Jumbam found the money at the back of his machine said,he used to hired the tricycle and make a balance after he is through with the business of the day.
He stated that,one businessman had boarded his tricycle on 17 November 2023,around 9:30 pm inside Dapchi market but forgot the huge cash when he came down from the tricycle.
"I when home and found the money inside a leather at the back of my machine which after informing my family about it, they found out it was a money but we didn't Opened it.
"Early in the morning,as i almost know where exactly i dropped the passengers ,i asked them one by one at the different spot whether they have forgotten something inside my keke.
"This is the process i undertook to find out the real owner of the money",said Ali Bulama .
