Yobe Assembly Clerk holds mock session to members elect

The Clerk of the Yobe state House of Assembly, Barrister Mohammed AB. Yusuf has on Wednesday organised a mock session for the members elect of the 8th Assembly in the state.

The mock session was organised at the chambers of the House in Damaturu .

Declaring the session opened, the clerk of the House,Barrister Mohammed AB Yusuf said the session was  to demonstrate to the members elect on how the plenary session and election of House leaders will be conducted at the floor of the House. 


Barrister Mohammed  stated that, the mock session is the House tradition before the inauguration of the new Assembly. 

The clerk of the House commended the members elect of the 8th Assembly for attending the mock session and assured for more training and retraining on legislative activities. 

The mock session was attended by the six new members elect and other returning members.

Ignore strike notice,it's fake- Yobe NLC declares

In a statement by the state NLC Chairman,Comrade Muktari Musa Tarbutu,said the fake news/circular is entirely false and without any basis.
