Yobe 7th Assembly Passed 38 Bills,61 Resolutions

The 7th Assembly of the Yobe State House of Assembly has passed a total of 38 Bills while one is at Committee stage among the  39 introduced bills during of their four years.

This is made known on Tuesday 20,May 2023,during the assembly valedictory session to marked the end of the 7th Assembly in the 5th republic.

Also in the  7th Assembly,61 Resolutions were passed with the aimed of improving the machinery of the people of yobe state.

Leading the valedictory session,the Speaker Yobe state seventh Assembly,Ahmed Lawan Mirwa expressed his appreciation to members for their supports and assistance described the performance of the seventh Assembly as incredibly well especially in terms of legislative activities, accountability among others.

He praised the cordial relationship existing between the Legislative and Executive Arms of government, expressing optimism and hope that similar cooperation would be witnessed during 8th Assembly.

The legislators called on the residents of the state not to relent in their support for the State Government towards executing developmental projects in the state.
