Gubana,Mashio,Gadaka attends eid-el-kabir prayers in Damaturu

Yobe state deputy governor Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana,Speaker,Chiroma Buba Mashio,APC State chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, Wednesday joined hundreds of muslims Faithfull and observed  two raka'at Eid-el- Kabir prayers at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic centre Damaturu.

The two raka'at eid prayers was led by the Chief Imam of Yobe mosque and Islamic Center, Ustas Hudu Mohammad Yusuf at exactly 8:10am.

Delivering his sermon  after the two raka'ats,eid prayers,Mallam Hudu Mohammed Yusuf said,Prophet Muhammad peace be upon has encouraged Muslims to exchange visits among one another particularly  among families, friends,neighbours and relatives in a period like this.

Uztaz Hudu further stressed that the benefits of brotherhood in Islam is bountiful hence the needs for Muslims to emulate the sunnah of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

The deputy governor Gubana while answering questions from news men Shortly after slaughtering ram at the government house damaturu said, Eid-el Kabir is a  sacrifices for slaughtering ram to emulate prophet Ibrahim.

He urged the people of the state to support the present administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Mai Mala Buni for them to enjoy the dividend of democracy and for  peace and better development of the state and the country as a whole.

Gubana equally called on the  general public in the state especially those residing at the water ways to relocate to another places to avoid being affected by flood as already warned by authorities concerned.
