NUC Accreditates 9 Yobe Versity's Programmes

This was contained in a letter sent to the University titled  "Summary of Result of November/December  2022 Comprehensive Accreditation Exercise" signed by the NUC Director of Accreditation  on behalf of the Executive chairman Professor Abubakar Rasheed. Inmates engage in reckless s3xual activities after 3 weeks of blackout in Yobe Prison

Inmates and correctional law enforcement officers of medium and security custodian centres in Potiskum have been thrown into lingering blackout following the disconnection of light by the Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC). Neptune Prime  reports that the blackout which has lasted for 3 weeks has led to a rampage of homosexuality and lesbianism amongst the inmates at the yard and grounded many businesses that are relying on power at the staff quarters. Some correctional officers who spoke to  Neptune Prime  not only condemned the inmates’ sexual attitude but lamented the continued inability of the authority concerned to restore the power in other to overcome the problem. Distributing the materials at his palace in potiskum,the Royal Father prayed for unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of the area. He used the forum to appeal to well-meaning individuals in society to always assist orphans in order to earn them an improved livelihood. The Vice Chancellor made the disclosure today Wednesday 19th April 2023 at the 14th Matriculation Ceremony of the University. Prof. Daura also revealed that the University is  considering the introduction of other academic programmes in the College of Medical Sciences such as Dentistry, Medical Laboratory Science and Radiography. SFTAS:Yobe Emerged Second Best Performing State

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, said his administration will sustain the leading position in accountability, transparency and Public Finance Auditing as rated by the State Fiscal Transparency Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) a World Bank assisted-programme, and the Paradigm Leadership Support Initiative. He stated this while reacting to the Paradigm Leadership Support Initiative report on the performance of Nigerian states on Subnational Audit Efficacy index 2022 in which Yobe state emerged as the Second Best Performing state in Nigeria. The report which assessed the operational level of transparency and accountability in management of public funds and implementation of public policies in the 36 states, scored Yobe state as the Second-Best Performing state.
