Inmates and correctional law enforcement officers of medium and security custodian centres in Potiskum have been thrown into lingering blackout following the disconnection of light by the Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC). Neptune Prime  reports that the blackout which has lasted for 3 weeks has led to a rampage of homosexuality and lesbianism amongst the inmates at the yard and grounded many businesses that are relying on power at the staff quarters. Distributing the materials at his palace in potiskum,the Royal Father prayed for unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of the area. He used the forum to appeal to well-meaning individuals in society to always assist orphans in order to earn them an improved livelihood. The Vice Chancellor made the disclosure today Wednesday 19th April 2023 at the 14th Matriculation Ceremony of the University.
