Madakin Gudi Foundation Reaches Tarmuwa for Free Diagnosis

By Yusuf A. Yusuf, Damaturu

A medical team from the Madakin Gudi Foundation visited Babban Gida Town in Tarmuwa Local Government Area to provide free diagnosis, treatment, and medication to vulnerable individuals.

This initiative is part of a continued medical outreach launched by the foundation two months ago, aimed at reaching all corners of Yobe State.

Led by Project Coordinator Malam Hassan Kaku Hassan, the team extended their efforts to Babban Gida Town, where hundreds of patients were diagnosed and provided with appropriate medications.

Prior to the outreach, the team visited the palace of the Emir of Jajere, Alhaji Mai Hamza Ibn Isah Buba Mashio, to seek his blessing.

At Babban Gida, the headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Council, the team was received by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hajja Budu Lawan, on behalf of Chairman Muhammad Lamido Musa.

From the local government secretariat, the team proceeded to Babban Gida Primary Healthcare Centre to begin the exercise.

The outreach proved timely, as the team attended to a large number of patients, including the elderly, women, and children.

The foundation plans to extend the exercise to neighboring local government areas over the weekend.
