Gov.Buni awards scholarship to 127 law students in Yobe

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has Tuesday awarded scholarships to 127 law students from the state attending the Nigerian Law School for the 2025 academic session.
Governor Buni praised the students for their achievements and reaffirmed the government's commitment to enhancing education through improved infrastructure and resources.
He highlighted past efforts, noting that over 38,000 students have benefited from the State Scholarship Scheme.This marks the fourth consecutive year of scholarships for law graduates, with full tuition support of N475,000 and laptops provided to each beneficiary.
The governor also referenced the recent success of 189 students who completed their studies in India, with many employed in the state’s healthcare sector.
He assured ongoing support for education at various levels and encouraged scholarship recipients to uphold their institutions' standards and serve as exemplary representatives of their state.
"It is a profound honor to announce that the government has approved full sponsorship FOA all 127 applicants.Each beneficiaries will receive tuition support of N475,000 and a laptop to aid their studies.
" To parents, guardian,and students,I assure you that this administration will continue to prioritize education and support citizens pursueing academic and professional goals at all levels ",said Gov.Buni
He urged the law students to adhere strictly to their institutions rules , avoid misconduct that could or reputation and strive to be exemplary ambassadors of their state.
