As the free medical outreach conducted by the Madakin Gudi Foundation across Yobe State reached Damaturu Local Government Area, the Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Bukar Adamu, described it as a commendable initiative.

The Chairman, represented by the Director of Primary Healthcare for Damaturu Local Government Area, Hauwa Hassan Ahmed, praised the exercise during the event, stating it is worthy of emulation.

A cross-section of major stakeholders in the local government, including the APC Chairman, the District Head of Bulabulin, and other leaders of Nayi-Nawa Community (where the exercise took place), lauded the gesture.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Madakin Gudi Foundation, noting that the initiative would alleviate the burden of medical bills for low-income earners in the community.

Following the exercise, the team paid homage to the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Ameen El-Kanemi.

The Emir praised the outreach as a noble effort to assist vulnerable populations and urged other philanthropists in society to emulate the foundation’s work.
