Foundation offers free treatment to 310 persons in machina

In Continuation of its state wide free medical outreach, the Medical Team of Madakin Gudi Foundation was on Saturday  in Machina town of Machina Local Government Area where the team offered free treatments to over 310 vulnerable persons.

Addressing a large crowd of people of the Community, the Coordinator of the Project, Malam Hassan Kaku said the exercise is part of the foundation's state wide gesture aimed at complementing the efforts of the present administration in the state.
He pointing out that,Its also towards ensuring that Healthcare Services are taken to the door steps of the people especially those that cannot afford medical bills. 

Kaku noted that,"as a result of the Commitment of Governor Mai Mala Buni to ensure effective Healthcare is provided to the people at the grassroots.

" Yobe State got  an international recognition hence the need for citizens of the state specifically the well to do individuals to complement these efforts",Kaku

He further evealed that,this is why Madakin Gudi Foundation embarked on the current Free Medical Outreach across the State.

A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
