Comply with the ban of drone directives-Yobe Security Adviser

The Office of the Special Adviser on Security Matters to  Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State,Brigadier General Dahiru Abdulsalam (Retired) has officially notify the general public in Yobe State to comply with the ban of drone operation of the north east theatre directive and desist from the use of drone(s) for whatever guise and purpose in the state.

While appreciating the support and cooperation of the citizens in the state, the Security Adviser assured of the commitments of Air
Component OPERATION HADIN KAI in monitoring and regulating aerial
platform operations, including aircraft and drones in the North East Theatre."This is to ensure safety and security of all,"said the Yobe security Adviser.


This is coming following the unfortunate use of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles popularly known as drone in breaching peace and security across the North East Theatre of Operations as well as the observed increase  in the proliferation of such machines for commercial and recreational purposes

The Air Component Operation HADIN KAI which is saddled with the responsibility of monitoring and regulating aerial platform operations including aircraft and drones in the North East Theatre has issued a directive for complete ban on drone operations.

This was sequel to a directive from its Appropriate Superior Authority.It further reiterates that breaqches of this ban no matter how insignificant would be viewed very seriously.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs and ethical reorientation, Yusuf Umar disclosed this at the second edition of the North East Unity Christmas Carol held at Damaturu the Yobe state capital. 9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
