Child Spacing:Yobe Media team Present scorecard for 2024

Yobe state family planning media team has on Saturday helds it's end line review meeting for the year 2024 in Damaturu,Yobe state capital.

The State Chairman ,Yobe family planning media team,Mustapha Yusuf highlighted some of the successes and challenges on the child spacing practice in the state for the period under review.
 
He said,under the family planning media team reference,have conducted two field trip ,one in April,visited some primary health care centers in Damaturu,and Fune local government areas where the team found encouraging stories of rural women been involved in the child spacing practice for many different reasons.

Mustapha pointing out that,"we took our second field in November,this time around going to other council areas as Gujba, Damaturu and Geidam to interact and sensitize women including their husband on the subject matter among others. 

"With the support of Yobe State government through the ministry of health and human services,in collaboration with The Challenge Initiative (TCI),the media Team has successfully unlocked the full potential of Childbirth Spacing, transforming lives and shaping a brighter future for mothers and sisters in Yobe State".

On his massage to the family planning media team,The Challenge Initiative (TCI) manager for Yobe state,DR. Philimon Mamza encouraged the media team to enhance synergy with the demand generation components to sensitise Communities on the benefits of childbirth Spacing practice.


The 2024, end line review meeting is an avenue for the media team to share experiences,talk about successes and challenges in addition to proffering solutions to identified impediments.

Also,the work of the Yobe family planning media was made easy as statistics from the state primary health care management board revealed that,250 heath care providers on childbirth Spacing reproductive health were trained strengthening Child birth spacing services at 242 primary health care centers.

The statistics further highlighted,a total of 181,853 new child birth spacing acceptors in addition to over 200,000 units of child birth spacing commodities to health facilities.
