Yobe:IPAC Praises INEC for conducting free,fair,peaceful Elections

Yobe State Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has commended,the independent National Electoral Commission INEC for performing wonderfully well during the conduct of the 2023 Presidential,National Assembly, Governorship and State Assembly Elections in Yobe state.

Yobe IPAC Chairman,Comrade Bala Muhammad made the commendation Tuesday while briefing journalist on the out come of the just concluded general elections in the State.

Muhammad stated that,the conduct of all candidates and their supporters was very peaceful throughout the electioneering exercise.

He revealed that,the security operatives were on ground and civil in carrying out their duties as well as the press also covered the Elections professionally and objectively.

"This factors gave the INEC the Support to Organised free,fair, transparent and incontestable Elections in every part of the state.

" The Electorates in the state voted for candidates of their choice and their choices were duly returned by INEC",said the IPAC Chairman.

The council commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for substantial adhering to the provision of the law in conducting both the presidential and National Assembly Elections in Yobe State.

The IPAC Chairman further revealed that the Council in the state endorsed and approved the Elections conducted in Yobe state.

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
