Court Order:Fika APC State Assembly Candidates To Participate In Elections

The Director General APC Yobe Campaign Council, Senator Mohammed Hassan has congratulated the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and the candidates of Fika East and Ngoya/Ngeji state assembly constituencies over the Stay of Execution order granted today by the Federal Court of Appeal, Gombe.

The court at its sitting on Thursday ,took applications for stay of Execution in both Appeals and granted the stay of Execution Order.

This Stay of execution order provides the candidates with the opportunity to participate in the forthcoming state assembly elections.

The DG therefore appeal to the candidates and their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully and within the confines of the law.

“We are optimistic that we will emerge victorious in the governorship and state assembly elections in the state insha Allah”.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
