Fulani Group Endorsed Gov.Buni for Second term

The Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) in Bade Local  government Area and some key officers of the Association in Yobe North  Senatorial District have endorsed Governor Mai Mala Buni For his second term bid.

The Bade MACBAN chairman Bade local government area,Alhaji Idriss Musa pronounced the endorsement after decamped  from PDP into the ruling party  APC .


Other members of Miyetti Allah who decamped to join APC are Alhaji Ajiya,Bade MACBAN Vice Chairman, Alh Maigari, Secretary,Miyetti Allah Karasuwa Local Government and other key officers of the Association from other Local Government Areas of Yobe North Senatorial  District.

The leader of the decampees,Alhaji Idriss Musa said, they all agree to join APC because they admired  Buni's excellent performances in the development of the state and bettering the lives of its people.

He revealed that,they also admired the  good leadership of the state party Chairman,Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka who respects all members of the party in the state regardless of their tribe, religion or where they comes from.

Mohammed Gadaka who received the decampees expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah who gave them the wisdom and foresight to see the reason to join APC and contribute their quota  towards re - electing  Mai Mala Buni  for second term to continue with his good work of developing and modernizing the  State.


The party Chairman assured them Mai Mala Buni, if re - elected, will continue with the developmental efforts with aim to make the state a better living place for the people of Yobe State and even strangers to live peacefully with their host communities.

A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
