2,200 Yobe Civil Servants Sit for 2023 Promotion Exams

Yobe State Head of Civil Service,Alhaji Garba Bilal has said no fewer than 2,200 civil servants sat for 2023 promotion examination in the state.

Garba Bilal Made this known Saturday while going round and supervised one of the examination centre, at 'Government Girls Collage Damaturu'.


He satisfied with the process of the conducts of the 2023 civil service examination in the state.

The head of service noted that, the examination were holding in 3 centres across the 3 senatorial zone of the state.

He stated that Government Girls College Damaturu with a total of 1300,Collage of Administration, Management and Technology  Potiskum,with a total of 515,and  Umar Sulaiman Collage of Education Gashua with total of 385 civil servants writing for the examination respectively.

"Governor Mai Mala Buni have taking into consideration all the needs of the civil servants in the State in terms of taking care of their  welfare,a lots of welfare packages have been in the pipe line and a lots have been implemented.

"Governor Buni has created an enabling environment to ensure that civil servants in the state put in their best,"said Bilal.

"I  believe that,in the next one month at most the result of this exams would be out.

"We are after a better quality,this exams would groom our civil servants to be more productive and efficient, keep our civil servants to be abreast with modern innovation in the civil service,"Garba Bilal added.
