ADC Guber Candidate,NURTW,72 Unions, Endorsed Buni for Second term

The African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Yobe state, Alh. Abdullahi Mohammed Talio,has withdrawn from the race and pledged his support to Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Announcing his withdrawal from the race,Talio said he was motivated by the achievements recorded by the Buni administration in the last four years.

"I want to avoid a situation of splitting votes, and to give our support to Governor Buni for a second term of office"he said.



Also a group of 72 trade unions and associations in the state have declared their support to Governor Buni. 

Chairman of Association,Alh. Umaru Barau, said the empowerment programmes of the state government has provided artisans in the state with sustainable means of livelihood. 

"The interventions by the state government in providing commercial vehicles on loan at subsidised rates,sewing and knitting machines among many others have empowered tradesmen with means of livelihood.

"We will support you,vote you back for a second term to continue doing the good work" they assured.

Similarly the National Union of Road Transport Workers,(NURTW),Indi Igbo,Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria unanimously endorsed the incumbent Governor Mai Mala Buni of the All progressives Congress (APC) to continue steering the affairs of the state  for  the next four years.
