Presidential poll:Gov. Mai Mala Buni Congratulates Tinubu over Victory

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, has congratulated Nigeria's President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect Sen. Kashim Shettima, on their victory at the polls.

Buni described Tinubu and Kashim as the best team for Nigeria at this material time.

"The people of Nigeria have spoken with great hope for a better Nigeria through the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency.

"Tinubu is a true Nigerian who in his private and public life accomodates Nigerians from various ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

"His experience in transforming Lagos state would no doubt be used for the transformation of a larger Nigeria" Buni said.

The Governor called on Nigerians including other candidates who contested along with him to support the President-elect to build a more united and prosperous Nigeria.

Governor Buni prayed God to guide the incoming Asiwaju/Kashim administration for a more united, prosperous and a better Nigeria

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
