Yobe Senior Civil Servants Meets Over efficient service delivery

Yobe state Office of the Head of civil service has Organised a one day meeting with all the state Directors,Heads of Departments 
In the Civil service for efficient service delivery.

Presiding over the meeting at the local government multiple purpose Hall in damaturu,the  State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Garba Bilal said,civil service is the main instrument through which government implements and administers public policies and programmes.

He noted that,civil servants have prominent roles to play in service delivery adding that there is noway the civil service would move without contributions.

"The gathering is for important personalities,as Directors are the people that are responsible for treating all the vital documents of government.

"As Directors in your respective Ministries, departments and agencies and  Heads of Departments in the various MDAs ,you have a  great role to play in moving the civil service forward,"said Bilal.

He further stated that,the development achieved in many countries of the world has been due to the ability of their civil service to effectively translate the policies of their political leaders into concrete services.

He called on the state senior civil servants at the meeting to contributes immensely by putting their best towards moving the state forward.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
