Sector 2 Commander NE-OPHK lauds Yobe Journalists efforts

The Commander Sector 2 North-East (NE)Joint Task Force,Operation Hadin kai,(OPHK)Brig.Gen.Marcel Chidiebere Ejike commended the efforts made by Yobe state Journalists to Nigerian Army in ensuring that Yobe state is secured and safe.

Brig.Gen.Ejike made the commendation when he paid a familiarization visit to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)Yobe state chapter on Friday at their union secretariat in Damaturu.

He stated that,his predecessor briefed him on how Yobe Journalists have been cooperating with him in order to ensure that Yobe state is secure and safe.
The Sector Commander revealed that,Is a team work for all of the soldiers and journalists to ensure that Yobe people are secured and sleep with their two eyes close.

"I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for what you have been doing to me since I reported in to the state.

"I want you people to give me a maximum cooperation so that would ensure that Yobe is secured and safe",said the Sector 2 NE OPHK Commander.

On his remarks,Yobe state NUJ Chairman,Comrade Rajab Mohammed appreciated the Commander Sector 2 North-East OPHK for bringing Journalists closer to his office seen the impact journalists are giving to the society.

Comrade Rajab assured the sector 2 OPHK commander for maximum cooperation in order to achieve the target objective.

He also appealed to the military Officer to give media a timely update as information is very important.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
