Palliative:KACRAN hails Gov.Buni for justice,fairness

 

Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for Exceptional Support to Pastoralists and Called for Wider Adoption of Equitable Palliative Measures


This is contained In a statement signed by the KACRAN National President,Hon.Khalil Mohammed Bello said,the association extends its heartfelt congratulations and commendations to Yobe state Governor,Mai Mala Buni,for his unwavering commitment to the principles of equity, justice,and fairness in serving all residents of Yobe State,irrespective of tribe, religion,or political affiliation.


He stated that,"Our commendation for Governor Buni arises from the ongoing palliative distribution program in Yobe State,commendably overseen by the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Dr. Mohammed Goje,has been instrumental in ensuring the equitable distribution of aid across the state,which has included all 17 Local Government Areas, correctional centers,and other key locations.

"We are particularly encouraged by the inclusive approach adopted in the delivery of these palliatives, which has seen the state's pastoralists,often residing in remote and rural areas,receiving the same level of consideration as their urban counterparts.

"This equitable treatment of pastoralists is not a new development in Yobe State,but it stands in stark contrast to practices in other states where palliatives and government interventions are disproportionately allocated to urban areas with higher media visibility, often neglecting the rural populace".

Khalil Bello noted that,Yobe State SEMA,under Dr.Goje's exemplary stewardship,has consistently prioritized the distribution of aid to state pastoralists, thereby upholding Governor Buni's directives for justice and fairness without prejudice. 

According to him,this has been evident in the distribution of palliatives,whether sourced from the state's funds or provided by the federal government under the administration of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"In recognition of these just and fair practices, KACRAN wishes to express profound gratitude to both Governor Buni and Dr. Mohammed Goje,along with their dedicated staff, for their unwavering dedication to the welfare of all citizens, including pastoralists.

"We call upon the federal government and all Northern governors, whose states are home to millions of pastoralists, to adopt similar measures of equitable treatment, thereby ensuring that pastoralists are accorded their rightful place and privileges as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,which guarantees equality to all citizens",the KACRAN president added.

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
