LG Election:IPAC calls on all political parties in Yobe to participate


The Inter party Advisory council (IPAC) in Yobe state has called on all political parties in the state to present their candidates In order for them to participate in the forthcoming 2024 local government area election.

The Chairman of the council,Umar Adamu Jajere made the called on Friday while briefing journalists in Damaturu on their stance on the LG Election.

Yobe State local government election have been slated for 25th of may, 2024 and is expected that all the registered polities parties in the state to participate in the forthcoming Local Government election.

Jajere also called on the  State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) to shun partisan and discharge its duties as required by the constitution.

"We acknowledged the commitment of Yobe state Governor,Mai Mala Buni in making sure the election take place in a free,fair and conducive environment.

"we assured government and good people of the state that, equal level playing ground will be provided by all the candidate of various registered political
parties".

Jajere urged the eligible voters in the state to come out en masse and vote for the party of their choice on 25 May, 2024.
