Woman 42yrs found dead at home in Damaturu

Residents of new Bra Bra housing Estate in Damaturu Yobe state capital woke up to a shocking news on Thursday following the discovery of a 42 years old woman identified as Ammi Adamu Mamman found dead in her residence as a result of deep cut on her neck.

A statement by the police public relations department,Yobe state police command made available to journalists in Damaturu said  investigation commenced immediately by the CID state homicide Unit to fish out the culprit.

According to the statement one Abubakar Musa 43years of New Bra Bra housing Estate  bye pass Maiduguri road in Damaturu while sleeping on the same bed with his wife one Ammi Adamu Mamman  42 years she was starved with an object on her neck causing a deep cut resulted to heavy bleeding and led to her death.

The statement further revealed that the husband is arrested for  interview.

The statement read apart"Finding revealed that the couple are staff of the Yobe state state University (YSU) Damaturu.

"The command codoled with the bereaved families as effort are intensified to unravel and arrest  the perpetrators" 

In another development,the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Yobe Council has strongly condemn this wickedness and inhuman act.

The NUJ is calling on the security agencies to deepen investigation in order to fish out the culprit.

"We are also calling on our colleagues, the Journalists to follow up with the matter by giving maximum publicity to enable the arrest of the suspects to disallow future occurrence",said the state NUJ chairman, comrade Rajab Mohammed Ismail.

Ignore strike notice,it's fake- Yobe NLC declares

In a statement by the state NLC Chairman,Comrade Muktari Musa Tarbutu,said the fake news/circular is entirely false and without any basis.
