Machina residents hail Buni over water project,Sesame factory

Machina's water scarcity it's historical under members of the community recount not having a dropped of water from drill bore-hole for over fifteen years.

A ground breaking record has made by Governor Mai Mala Buni for awarding a millennium project to Damuli Investment Company Limited to provide Solar powered water system within the area.

Damuli Investment Company Limited under it's managing Director,Liman Alhaji Dabuwa has high level of technical knowledge and skills to accomplish the project make it happened by providing Soler powered water system in Mafidu village 7.5km away from Machina town.

The Company also constructed sesame seed clearing and packaging factory in Machina town of Machina Local government area.

In an interview with our Correspondent in Machina,Mallam Dauda Abubakar one of the sesame farmer in Machina town commended Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni for providing such a factory in Machina town.

He said this is the kind of factory that the people of machina are looking since being machina is one of the community that produces large quantity of sesame yearly.

A member with chambers of Commerce,Lawan Audu Machina said,establishing the sesame seed clearing and packaging factory in Machina town it came at the right time that people of the community especially the sesame farmers are in need of the factory.

"So I really appreciate the effort of Governor Mai Mala Buni for establishing the sesame factory in Machina town",Audu revealed.

Also a sesame buyer,Janifer peter who came all the way from Kaduna state to Machina town in Yobe state to purchase sesame said,from what she have seen In machina local government,they have good product.

"It make more easy that you have the clearing plant here, so we appreciated the effort of Yobe state Governor for what he has provided,"said Jenifer.

Buni attends Christmas Carol, pledges support for Christian fateful

9 Months After:5,029 Staff Fail to Submit Bio Data Forms in Yobe

Yusuf, Damaturu   A total of 5,029 out of 32,140 staff members in the Yobe State Government workforce have failed to submit their Bio Data forms nine months after the verification exercise in the state.   The Permanent Secretary of the Yobe State Public Service and Chairman of the Committee for the Generation of the Nominal Roll of Yobe State Civil Servants, Dr. Bukar Kilo, disclosed this on Wednesday while presenting the verification report to the State Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa.   He stated that 27,111 out of the 32,140 total workforce participated in the exercise, while 5,029 staff members failed to submit their Bio Data forms, raising concerns about the authenticity of the staff records.   To address this issue, the committee has proposed the establishment of a Verification Committee.  According to Dr. Kilo, "The Verification Committee will require all staff who failed to submit thei...
