APC Begins LG Campaign For Yobe East Sen.Candidate

The All progressive Congress(APC)in Yobe state has Wednesday embarked on a Local government campaign for the APC Senatorial candidate,Hon Musa Mustapha.

In the Campaign rally at Buni-Yadi the headquarters of Gujba local government area,state party chairman All progressive Congress (APC),Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka said,the campaign is to secure votes for the Senatorial candidate Hon.Musa Mustapha in the forthcoming Senatorial bye election in the state.

The party Chairman stated that,Musa Mustapha is a man of proven integrity capable of delivering on his mandate if elected.



"The people of Gujba and Gulani local government area are politically conscious and enlightened and know what is good for them.

"We are here just because campaign is a political traditional that any party seeking for political seat have to undergo therefore we are seeking for your support to massively votes Musa Mustapha of APC",said the APC state party chairman. 

He further revealed that,the APC was confident of emerging victorious at the forthcoming polls.

Gadaka also called on the other party members in the local government to join APC on this movement for the development of their communities and the state in general.

The Senatorial bye-election coming up on 3th of February 2024,was necessitated as a result of the nomination of Senator Ibrahim Gaidam as minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which created a vacuum that need to be filled.

A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
