The All Progressive Congress  (APC)Senatorial Candidate, Honourable Musa Mustapha was on saturday in Geidam and Yunusari Local Government Area where he assured the people of the area of more dividend of democracy if elected.

The campaign entourage which was led by the Speaker Yobe State House of Assembly,Chiroma Buba Mashio comprised the State APC Chairman,Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka and other top Stakeholders of the Party in the state.

In Geidam town,the electorates from all the nooks and crannies of the area converged to receive the Candidate vying for the Yobe East Senatorial seat in the Zone, Honourable Musa Mustapha.

Top politicians of the local Government assured the candidate of massive votes.They however advised the Candidate to attract developmental projects to the area when elected.

The entourage proceeded to Yunusari town where the same message was delivered.Some APC Leaders at the Local Government congratulate the candidate for emerging the winner of the APC's Primary Election assuring to vote for him massively come 3rd February bye-election.

Ahead of bye-election to fill the vacant of yobe east senatorial seat,Governor Mai Mala Buni appealed to all members of the APC across the Yobe East Senatorial district to ensure that a person with clear intent to tread the path of the former senator in person of Musa Mustapha emerges victorious to continue with the legacy of the former senator,Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
