Yobe APC Exco condoles with Hon.Ishaku over father's death

Yobe State Chairman,All Progressives Congress,(APC) Chairman,Alh.Mohammed Gadaka and members of the APC state Executives have condoled with the member representing Ngoya/Ngejin state Constituency in the house of assembly,Hon.Ishaka Sani Audu over the death of his father,Alhaji Sani Audu Daya who died recently after a brief illness.

In a statement by the APC party chairman's press secretary, Sa'adatu Maina,Gadaka described the death of late Sani Audu Daya  as a great loss to the family daya community and Yobe state in general.

He expressed sympathy and prayed for the reposed Soul of the deceased and for the family to bear the fortitude of his lost.

Mohammed Gadaka also pray Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus be the reward of his good deed.

Late Alhaji Sani Audu Daya left behind many children and grandchildren, among the children were hon.ishaku Sani Audu, member representing Ngoya/Ngejin state Constituency in the house of assembly and Mallam Sanusi Sani Audu of recruitment department, governor's office, damaturu among others.

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  As part of its ongoing mission to support education, the Madakin Gudi Foundation has cleared five months’ stipends for 167 volunteer teachers across twenty-one schools in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State. A team from the Foundation mandated to carry out the payment set out in the early hours of Wednesday, 11th March 2026, visiting each of the 21 schools for the exercise.  The team first visited the Chana community and later proceeded to Godowoli and other villages, ending the exercise in Gadaka. Three volunteers in each of the schools were given the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to cover their monthly stipends. Yobe L-PRES Project Hands Over Livestock Market to Geidam Community

By Yusuf A Yusuf, Damaturu  The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), a World Bank-funded program, has commissioned and handed over a modern livestock market to the Geidam local government area of Yobe State.  The market, located at the Nigeria-Niger border, is expected to boost livestock trade between the two countries and create jobs. The market covers a 400m x 400m area, with features including perimeter fencing, gates, security outpost, veterinary clinic, administrative block, solar-powered boreholes, and drinking points. Other amenities include loading and off-loading ramps, toilets, and a livestock weighing scale. Project Coordinator Adama Hussaini Madaki said the market would strengthen livestock trade and improve revenue generation. Yobe APC Exco Receive National Party Chairman Ganduje
