Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, alongside a large crowd of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters, turned out in force on Saturday to back President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the party’s presidential primary.

Chanting “Tinubu Our President, Tinubu for a Second Term,” party members lined up behind the governor in a strong show of solidarity. Governor Buni, who described the process as “free, fair and credible,” expressed satisfaction with the high level of participation.
“The large turnout by party members is quite encouraging; it reflects the faith of the members in President Tinubu for a second term of office,” Buni said.

He called on APC members across the state to promote unity and generate further support for all party candidates, while reaffirming their commitment to President Tinubu’s re-election.

The governor added that reports reaching his office indicated peaceful and massive participation in the election across Yobe State.
